A more recent photo of my magpie tattoo. Back tattoos are ridiculously difficult to take photos of yourself! Also, it doesn’t help that I only have my phone camera to use and it’s a touch-screen. BOO. But, here you go!

In case you’re wondering, that’s not a Game Boy on my shoulder…it’s my phone case…

My new ink, finally.
Both are from Beatles songs.
Let it be and the little black birds symbolise ‘black bird’ and more specifically ‘take these broken wings and learn to fly’

I got it because it holds a lot of personal meaning to me. I tend to hold on to everything and I have to be in control all the time. It’s a reminder to myself that you can’t change things and sometimes the best thing you can do is let things go and let it be.
The black birds which symbolise ‘take these broken wings and learn to fly’ symbolise the fact that things don’t alway work out, which I have first hand experience of. It’s a reminder to adapt to everything that life throws at me, to learn from everything that life can offer me.
And also it’s a reminder to just let everything go and be free! Be be who I am, stop worrying and LOVE everything that I get to experience.

I love it and I’m so very happy with it.
